Soch: filmfare best music nomination for Awari in Ek Villain

Everyone has seen a wonderful wrap up of 21st Life Ok Screen Awards. Bollywood lovers now wait for the biggest awards of Bollywood ‘Filmfare Awards’ which are to be held on Jan 31 to take place.
Soch won Screen India Award along with Ankit Tiwari and Mithoon for Best Music. It may be worth mentioning here that Soch debuted in Mohit Suri’s Ek Villain not only by giving their number Awari but debuted also as ‘Music Directors’ in the movie.
Pakistani music lovers were barely done applauding Soch for Screen India Award win, that the news of Soch being nominated again for Ek Villain for Best Music in Filmfare started surfacing.

Filmfare is India’s biggest and most prestigious award ceremony that is held annually to celebrate and acknowledge the hard work of all those who make a good film worth watching and enjoying possible.
As the nominations for Filmfare were announced on 19th January 2015, there was surprise in store in the Best Music category with Pakistani band Soch (Rabi Ahmed, Adnan Dhool), nominated along with Mithoon and Ankit Tiwari for Ek Villain. Soch made their Bollywood debut in Mohit Suri’s Ek Villain with their soulful number ‘Awari’ that sucked in to music lovers despite its dark setting and a haunting melody. The lyrics of Awari are fresh and the composition absolutely unconventional.
Soch is currently busy working on their new tunes for upcoming movies both in Lollywood and Bollywood. Not disclosing any details, band’s manager Murtaza Niaz (Murzie) was quoted saying: “There definitely is something BIG coming out soon, we want our fans to keep their fingers crossed and hold on tight as Soch’s musical journey going to get really exciting.”
